Showcase a Reader or Book: Submission for a Featured Blog
Showcase a Reader or Book: Submission for a Featured Blog
Turning the calendar to a new year, I’ve been reflecting on my professional journey. I reflected on the good, the not-so-good, personal growth, and challenges. Looking back over the years, I realized that one of my goals throughout my professional journey has remained constant: to stay involved, give back to educators, and create material that better serves our students.
That’s why I am excited to open up a space where educators – like you – can showcase a reader or book with this audience! (It can be your own reader or book, or any author’s reader or book!)
Read on for more information!
Share a Reader or Book with Our Audience!
- Do you use a reader in the classroom that engages and resonates with your students? (Classroom Reader for Students)
- Do you know of a book that you believe can help educators? (Personal / Professional Growth Book for Educators)
Again, I am excited to open this blog to sharing effective content that supports world language instruction and education — and I’d love to hear from you!
If you’d like a reader or book featured on this blog, here’s your chance!

- Further Insights:
- Das Dokument / El documento is a chapter book written for beginning / A1 language learners. It incorporates thematic vocabulary, embedded elements, dialogue and a glossary. It also includes comprehension questions to give learners more repetition with the structures and vocabulary found in the chapters.
- The book can be effectively implemented with a variety of teaching styles, including: CI/ADI, traditional, communicative, thematic, TPRS, and others. It is also designed to help facilitate read-alouds, sustained silent readings, free voluntary reading, personalization, interaction and more.
- This book is the first book in the series and my students really enjoy reading this book. Not only do they ask if we are reading it that day in class, they ask when we are reading the second book! Lots of excitement and engagement in class with this book!
